When we arrived at the hotel, we found out they had no reservation or us because the Catfish Bend Inn & Spa has been under contructions since Feburary and none of the rooms are available for booking. We were lucky enough to get into a different hotel, but it was very inconvenient for us. I don't know why you would book a hotel that is not even open on Hotels.com!

The desk staff was exceptionally kind and courteous! Our room was very clean! We had a late check out, would have preferred a little longer than the half hour given, but understand the staff shortage. I didn't appreciate the Housekeeping staff member literally waiting outside of our door with her arms crossed when we walked out though!

"Nice Getaway "

Went to do some Christmas shopping then relax at the casino. Ordered a pizza from Boogaloo and had a great time. Have stayed here couple times and are always pleased.

It took a long time to get the air conditioning to actual cool the room. At one point in the middle of the night woke up to it being close to 90.

"Great place to stay"

We have stayed here many times over the years, but I never thought to do a review of it until now 😉 Catfish Bend Inn has been consistently good for us. It provides a nice weekend getaway when we need it, and has everything within the complex you could ask for as per dining and entertainment options. Additionally, Burlington (Iowa) is a wonderful town as far as scenery and shopping if you wish to explore while here.
