Edenbrook Motel

After traveling for 14 hours we arrived early before check in time. The young lady at the front desk was extremely accommodating and we checked in 2 hours prior to the suggested time. Our house cleaner Chas was exceptional. Our room was extremely clean. We requested a few extra coffee packets and they indeed were there. The room was spotless both days/nights. He was very polite and respectful. The location is perfect for the bus stop, downtown Bar Harbor and our daughter's school College of the Atlantic. We will definitely be returning. Thank you!

I wish our life schedule allowed us to stay longer.

The property was nice and close to the water. It was a very convenient distance from Bar Harbor which made trips into town easy. The rooms were simple but clean and comfortable. I'm picky when it comes to beds, so I was very pleased with the mattress and pillows. We were traveling with another couple (sister/brother-in-law) so we appreciated having two rooms that connected making it easy to share space when we all wanted to hang out. Our rooms were cleaned early in the mornings, and we always had a towel sculpture waiting on the bed when we returned which was a nice touch. We made use of the microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker in the room all of which functioned well. It was common to see various wildlife right outside of our room which was fun. We had deer and wild turkeys just to name two. We hope to return to Bar Harbor for another visit and we would happily stay at the Edenbrook Motel again.

We can think of very little to complain about regarding our stay. The bathroom counter space was a little tight in our rooms but nothing we couldn't work with.

Although they have made some improvements since acquiring the property, the beds and pillows are not very comfortable . Been coming to this motel since 2008 - long before these new owners took over a few years ago. Staff not the friendliest- a far cry from the original owners.

This is a great stay right outside Bar Harbor. Clean, quiet and everything you need in a base camp for your exploring in Acadia. I definitely recommend!
