Evergreen Villa - Sinharaja

We had lovely time at evergreen hotel in sinharaja. The view was outstanding, the room was very clean, and the bathroom was big and clean. Saaman the host was helpful and arranged us a guide for a tour in the forest.

Absolut traumhafte Lage mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick! Tolles, sehr sauberes Zimmer, schönes Bad und einladende Veranda. Auch die bei der Lodge gebuchte Regenwald-Tour war wunderbar! Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit dort und können die Lodge nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Location was perfect, stunning views and the quiet atmosphere

Evergreen is a family owned by Saman and his family. A very proper and beautiful place to stay especially if you are visiting Sinharaja forest. It’s typically next door. The room was so big and the view was amaizing. We took the family room that has the air condition. The breakfast offered is very delicious with varieties from Sri Lanka cuisine. Saman was so helpful, arranging for us the forest tour with a sweet guide, and we had just one dinner at his place. He also arranged a Tuk tuk to the village or tea factory. We also had a bless arranging an in room ayurvedic massage by Lakshan and his mother and it was fantastic. A must do after the 6 hours trail. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. Recommended!

Maybe a recommendation of adding a net door as we had to count on the air condition all night.

The property was very nice. The rooms we had (air conditioned rooms with two double beds) were squirky clean, very beautifull and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful - specially the owner (Saman) was very understanding and accomodating. It had all the things we needed. We were travelling with toddlers and we had a great time.

I wish the portions of the food from their restaurant were a bit bigger given the proces we pay. But the food were delicious - specially for the breakfast we had, we had a feast.

A beuatiful location in a serene environment by the Sinharaja rain forest. . The rooms were clean, spacious, nicely arranged, and designed to high standards with quality interior. They surpass the expectations you'd develop based on the photos on booking.com. Food at thier family-run restaurant was delicious. The owner Saman is a great nice guy who would personally welcome you upon arrival and care to attend to you requests.

Die Evergreen Villa war für uns ein absolutes Highlight und hat 5 von 5 Sternen mehr als verdient! ​Die Atmosphäre ist unglaublich herzlich, da die Unterkunft familiengeführt wird. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und haben uns sofort das Gefühl gegeben, willkommen zu sein. Das Zimmer war makellos sauber und wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. ​Ein grosser Vorteil ist die fantastische Lage nahe dem Regenwald, die Ruhe und Natur pur bietet. ​Wir möchten besonders die Safari-Organisation hervorheben: Alles hat bestens geklappt, die Tour war top und die Preise sind fair. Das gesamte Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist unschlagbar! Wir sind rundum glücklich und können die Evergreen Villa nur jedem wärmstens empfehlen.

Geweldige locatie met prachtig uitzicht. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en regelt alles voor je, zo had de eigenaar zelfs een gepersonaliseerde taart geregeld voor mijn jarige vriendin. De tours via het verblijf waren ook goed geregeld.
