Fab location, rooms and food. The staff friendly and helpful. Plenty on-site parking with CCTV coverage.

Perfect location. Beautiful building. Our room was in the separate annexe, less beautiful, but clean and comfortable. Loved the ‘jungle decor’ in the room. We ate in the restaurant a couple of times and enjoyed both meals. Good friendly service.

e have stayed before and generally been pleased. This time, however, we received the most discourteous treatment at checkout. Our mistake was to assume we could check out early, around 7.10am, which was clearly unacceptable. We would gladly have settled the remainder of our bill the night before had we been asked! We certainly had no intention of inconveniencing anyone. Very disappointed that we, as returning clients, should have been treated so disrespectfully. Will not return.

2nd visit and will be our go to when using ferry to & from France. Lovely location, polite & friendly staff, excellent food.

Le manoir est très bien situé entre la ville de Caen et les plages. Le personnel à la réception est sympathique. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables.

Staff and dinner excellent. Bathroom large and well equipped but no extractor. Booked as stayed last year and was impressed with given room. This time placed in soulless annex 100 yards from restored manoir. Empty large reception bar area on entry and basic mismatched decor everywhere. Our room had badly painted walls, damaged furniture, rush mats on floor, dirty kettle with only 1 milk and 2 coffee sachets. Sadly will not return.

The hotel itself is very nice and at first look our room looked ok. When entering there was a strong smell of chemicals which I assumed was down to cleaning if the room. Howevet when we got in bed the room started to smell badly if drains and this got worse as the night went on. It was obvious they had tried to mask the smell of the drains. There was also a leak under the sink in the bathroom. I chose this hotel for it's convenience if vicinity to the ferry port and the good review's. However the room I was given was very poor which was a disappointing end to our holiday.
