"Best stay we had in Japan!"

The property is right in the centre of Shibu onsen, within walking distance from the Snow Monkey park and Yudanaka station. We liked that the property is very traditional, and the room was huge. We had a dinner and breakfast there and the food was really good. Another thing to mention is that, if told in advance, they cater for allergies - as a celiac is not always easy to find gluten free options, but the options I had there were amazing! The staff was also professional and took good care of us.

Le lieu est sympas dans un petit village tranquille traditionnel. Le onsen dans le ryokan est juste génial.

Les seules douches sont celles du onsen en tout cas je n'en ai pas trouvé d'autres 😅

Hosts were really welcoming. The room was comfortable. There was a snack and green tea in your room upon arrival. The shared bathroom was very clean. The dinner and breakfast was lovely. We do not eat seafood and the hotel was able to accommodate this. We had access to the 9 bathhouses. The hotel provides yukata and geta so you can walk around Shibu Onsen exploring the bathhouses. Overall we had a really lovely stay and would stay again.

"Good property in an amazing location."

Location is out of this world. Stunning scenery from outside our window. Very accommodating, we were late for our booked dinner and they still made it for us.

No coffee left in room, but thats minor.
