Bay Towers

We liked the clean room, We also likes the relatively quiet location when compared to San Pedro or the South Caye Caulker island. We liked the beach and dock area and loaner bicycles. We liked the helpful and flexible hosts.

Arriving and leaving this North Island requires taking a short ferry ride across "the split". The ferry has charm but is an added cost of going into town.

It is a beautiful apartment with a view of the sunrise to the east and sunset to the west. We arrived before checkin so they made getting our room ready a priority. While we waited we snorkled around the dock and saw a huge variety of tropical fish under it. After checking in we used the bicycles that were made available to take the brief ride to the ferry to cross the spilt to the busier (and louder) part of the island. In the morning we took the short bike ride up the road to a lovely resort for breakfast. We were so happy that we found Bay Towers for our stay!

This was just what we were looking for. We stayed in one of the studios. It was so nice! It had a mini fridge, coffee pot, microwave, bottled water. No hair dryer, though. This is one of the very few places in Caye Caulker that has an actual beach...so that was a key factor for us. But be prepared to walk! Not a problem at all for us, but just a note of warning. You have to walk to catch the split ferry if you want to go onto the Southside which has more shops and activities. Or you still have to walk to the nearest restaurant if you don't want to leave the Northside. So bring snacks and drinks with you because there are no nearby options. The staff was very helpful...even arranged our taxi from the airport. The room was kept clean. And the sunsets were amazing!

The rooms were modern and clean. There was a kitchenette in the studio room we booked. The staff was friendly and helpful. The view is amazing! It was quiet and relaxing. One of the few places in Caye Caulker with an actual beach. The sunsets from the dock are priceless. It is not in the center of the active areas so Bay Towers is truly a getaway.

The seclusion means there are no options for snacks or drinks (besides water). There was no hair dryer in our room so I had to use a hat or headband every day for my beach hair...but, whatever.

From the moment I arrived at Bay Towers I was truly impressed by the clean landscaping, clean building and the beautiful rooms. The rooms are actually 2 bedroom units that are well furnished and offer a fully stocked kitchen and two elegant bathrooms. The rooms were as clean as I hoped they would be, spotless! The first morning I was there I woke up with the sun and got to see an amazing sunrise from the rooftop. From the rooftop you get best 360 degree view. While enjoying the view I saw a man (Walter) raking the entire premises which erased all of the evidence of the day before. Raking the premises was the first thing he did everyday. Walter was super friendly and seems to love his work. After Walter raked you could see the trails of hermit crabs, land crabs and whatever else in the sand. Greg, the new owner was very hospitable and had great recommendations for where to go, eat and do while there. A trip up to see the Mayan ruins was recommended and I was not disappointed! While staying a week in this paradise I looked for other similar resorts and am sure this one is the place I want to come back to. The South Island is the place to go for dinner, nightlife and shopping but when you want to chill out and relax I liked going back to the North Island and Bay Towers was close enough to the Split that is was no problem to walk back and forth between islands. I’m already looking forward to coming back next year for a bit longer stay! Thank you Greg and staff for a wonderful experience at your resort!

Amazing clean quiet location very good communication bikes on site to ride around the island to view all the beautiful sceneries

Amazing property, breathtaking views, more than anyone could ever want. This was our second stay, and the new owners are really wonderful. Kevin went out of his way to make our stay even better, offering the use of a fishing pole, taking us to the split, and carrying our gigantic suitcase up four floors. Greg offered to cook the fish we caught. Everything was perfect & we can't wait to go back.

Owners were accessible and communicated in a timely manner. Property was very quiet, but close enough to the sourh island for food and sightseeing. Rental bikes were a plus. Pool was nice. Reserve ocean view if you enjoy the sunset. I would visit again.

This was the most beautiful resort. Our first time in Belize and it was everything we hoped for. Our place was so clean, modern, and equipped with everything we needed for our seven day stay. Greg, the owner was so fun and gave us great recommendations on what to see and do. Amazing resort, sunsets, and fresh delicious lobster. We can't wait to go back and stay there again!
