Check-in at another facility: Unique! Food service: Non-existent. Ergo, not a hotel, barely a motel.

The premises were lovely overall and the location great, but the accommodations were not what we expected for the price. There was no closet or place to hang clothes. There was only one chair and no desk. Coffee was not available in the room. There was no complimentary continental breakfast as promised in their literature.

Bedroom was comfortable. The shower was hazardous - slippery floor, nothing to hold on to, nowhere to put things. There was nothing about what to do in case of fire - I thought that was required. Our room was down a long, narrow hall and the stairs down were wooden.

The property was beautiful, and the staff was wonderful and friendly. You are in the heart on Lenox with walking ability to shops and restaurants. Less then two miles to Tanglewood which was why we we’re traveling. It was perfect.

There was one young man. I think his name was Jeff who was really helpful in suggesting eating places and recommending a particular scenic route. The young lady who checked us in could have been more welcoming.

Beautiful place.

Great location near downtown. But the rooms are bit depressing with their spartan furnishings (not even a coffee maker) and cracked paint. The walls are so thin can hear next room conversation. The public "lounge" is similarly dark and uninviting--no surprise that nobody ever goes in.

The bar, restaurant, sitting area, and outside dining areas are fabulous. The lobby is a tiny little room and, when you enter, the desk clerk’s back is to you. No more than three people can fit in there at a time, and that is crowded. The bathrooms, walls, and ceilings look to be recently painted, which makes the old carpeting that’s still on the floor in the hallways and bedrooms look even more worn. The worst part was that you can hear every, and I do mean every single sound, from the rooms beside you.

The exhaust fan in the bathroom was full of dust and fuzzies which kept falling onto the floor. The room was also pretty small. Sheets were clean, though

The building was in a excellent location. Staff was very pleasant. Room was clean and inviting. Our room was right above the kitchen, our room was loud because of the kitchen on a Saturday night. The paver sidewalks on the town street had lots of broken pavers. On our walk to our restaurant for dinner my fiancée Lost her footing on a broken paver and banged up her knee.. She is okay and could have been a whole lot worse..
