All the staff we very friendly - and I mean everyone we met. The location was beautiful. The food was great, except for the Lookout. The cocktails and Irish coffee there were also very good. The main building was also beautiful and I felt very comfortable there. The À la carte menu was divine. The breakfasts were delicious and nothing was too much trouble. I had to do some work on a lap top whilst staying and the staff did everything to help me find the right spot with plugs etc and even offered to turn down the music in the corner I sat - so thoughtful. I had planned to use the sauna facilities but due to poor health was unable to, but I certainly look forward to that next time!

The entrance door to our ‘luxury sea view’ apartment was clear and this meant it wasn’t possible to walk from the bedroom to the bathroom or sitting area without being dressed. Additionally, the outside light was on until gone 3 am one night, gone 1 am the others and the light from the apartments next to ours, uphill, shone into our apartment all the time. Lastly, providing cups and glasses was great, but with nothing to wash them it was a little tricky. Hooks on the backs of the bedroom doors would provide a place to hand the gorgeous robes. Windows in the upstairs sitting room could have been bigger to really enjoy the location. We both ordered lasagne from The Lookout, and had fab salads and fries. The lasagne was very disappointing - a lot of tomato sauce that was sour and finely ground beef with not a hint of béchamel sauce. No, we didn’t complain as the cocktails and everything else was very good, but we didn’t return.

Beautiful location and facilities were lovely. Breakfast was wonderful.

Everything, it was wonderful.

The only complaint we had is we couldn’t stay longer.
