Curacao Avila Beach Hotel

We stopped in for lunch and were very impressed with the welcome, the lay of the property, the beach and were even shown a 2 bdrm unit for future consideration. Julian was so gracious, kind and pleasant . She made us want to stay and certainly consider renting here next year. We k ow the hospitality business and so we cannot underestimate the value Julian was to us in wanting to put Avila on our vacation stay list. The food was excellent, tasty, well presented and a good portion. We will definitely look at this property in the future. Thanks again Julian for making us feel so welcomed and treating us with your friendship and kindness .

Very nice resort scenic and clean rooms, the staff is amazing always smiling and do a good job running this place. Shout out to Donna on Omelette station, wonderful spirit and made the best Omelettes. The place has good eating choices and you have to catch Saturday Night BBQ night. I would say the location is perfect if you want to explore the other parts of the Island and waking distance to some really nice restaurants and areas like Cascada DeHeeran @ Sea and many others. This was our best vacation yet and this resort played a big role in it.

Very nice accommodations, friendly staff. Wonderful grounds. Large enough to explore or relax. Plenty of seating in different parts of the property , very nice options if you are trying to find a bit of shade. Not crowded. We were always able to find lounge chairs at the beach.

Beach is AMAZING! Staff was friendly, food was great at all of the restaurants, room was clean and comfortable.

Avila Beach Hotel is a jewel. The setting is perfect with 2 beautiful sandy beach coves for easy swimming and lovely snorkeling on the ocean side of the stone walls. Wonderful restaurants, bars and the historic downtown are all within walking distance. Avila is an elegant resort has a warm, family feel. We returned for our 10th visit, drawn back by the beautiful accommodations, outstanding staff and glorious sunsets. The reception team are very welcoming, professional and helpful. Check-in was efficient and included a welcome, delicious fruit punch. Staff are quick to help with luggage, questions and advice. Throughout our stay we regularly consult the reception staff whose information on the resort and the island always enhance our visit Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a lovely balcony facing the ocean. As both snorkelers and pool swimmers, we appreciated the drying rack suggested by the reception staff. The food and beverage options are so extensive that we wrote a separate review for The Penn for their wonderful food and fabulous staff. Overall, Avila Beach Hotel is the ideal place to fully enjoy all the many wonderful experiences that Curacao has to offer. Had an amazing time in February!! My wife Monika and I love this hotel. We were greeted at the door by C-Lo with juice which was a great welcoming touch. Everyone front desk was very kind and helpful throughout our stay . Estefania In the gift shop is always upbeat and kind as well . Sheldon was always on point with the drinks and the ladies who work in the main restaurant were always attentive and kind even when some customers weren’t . Thank you Aishelin, Carina, and Stephanie ! You made our stay wonderful!

Our stay at Avila lived up to all of our expectations! The grounds and the beaches were stunning and our room was exceptional. The staff was warm and very accommodating. In particular, Clyde and all of the bar staff were exceptional, and did an amazing job during the bust happy hour. We leave with our batteries recharged. We’ll be back!!!
