Zimmer sauber, Personal gut und immer hilfsbereit

Das Essen kann man nur als unterdurchschnittlich und schlecht bezeichnen. Wir haben nur noch in 2 sehr guten Restaurants gegessen: Esty‘s. Und Café George - fast gegenüber dem Hotel: exzellentes Essen und tolle Bedienung.

Sehr nettes Hotel und netter Strand.

1) Als wir aufgrund eines medizinischen Notfalls früher abreisen mussten, habe ich nach einem Refund gefragt. Die einfache. Antwort "nein" wäre ok gewesen, stattdessen haben sie es auf booking.com geschoben, dass dies nicht möglich wäre, obwohl booking.com beim Hotel angefragt hat. Ich mag keine Menschen oder Organisationen, die mir ins Gesicht lügen. 2) Frühstücksbuffet total überteuert, besser in einem netten Restaurant in der Nähe. 3) Mehrere Restaurants, aber nichts besonderes dabei.

We stayed in Blueswing (on the waterfront). Big room with private balcony - woke up every morning with a smile and a coffee, overlooking the sea and listening to it gently coming in. Hotel (resort really) is tier 1 - great layout, great lap-worthy infinity pool, snorkel-worthy reef (not Piskada or Playa Mari level, but amazing given it is on the property and, within 5 feet of beach, you are seeing beautiful fish), really good beach. Staff was very friendly throughout the resort. Blues restaurant served a great Red Snapper. Amazing location -- 5 minute walk to "restaurant row" in Pietermaai, 10 minute drive to Port Willemstad, 25 minutes to airport, ~45-60 min drive to snorkeling in Westpunt area. If I have to find anything to "complain" about -- bed was a bit firm for our liking. HIGHLY recommend! Would go back here in a heartbeat!
