Fairmont Royal Pavilion

I enjoyed my stay at the Fairmont resort. The staff was amazing. My room had an amazing view of the beachm I will definitely come back again.

Our room was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed. The ocean views were truly breathtaking—like scenes straight out of a photograph. The hotel grounds were impeccably maintained, adding to the overall charm of our stay. Throughout our visit, every staff member we encountered was courteous and helpful. The general manager, JC, and Roman were also very visible and engaged, which we appreciated. Our housekeeping experience was exceptional. Serena took wonderful care of us and even anticipated some of our needs, adding a personal and thoughtful touch to our stay. At breakfast, the wait staff (we had several different servers during our stay) remembered our drink orders and always kept our table clear of empty dishes, which made for a smooth and pleasant dining experience. One particularly special moment was at the beachside eatery, where we were surprised with a complimentary dessert to celebrate our anniversary—a very thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to us! Possible Improvements: • It would be nice to have more dining options available, though we understand this might vary by season. • Access to items in the gift shop after hours would be helpful, especially for urgent needs. During our stay, my husband and I both became ill and needed medication, which required taking a taxi into Holetown. Having essential items accessible on-site or through room service would be a great convenience for guests. Food: The cuisine may vary depending on individual tastes, but there are American-style options available for those who prefer familiar flavors. Overall, we had a very good experience, especially as a couple. We truly appreciated the gorgeous views, excellent service, and the thoughtful touches that made our stay memorable.

Great staff! Friendly and very hospitable.

The Fairmont is in a great location, with easy access to a sandy beach. Our room was comfortable with a lovely view, and we were lucky to catch a few incredible sunsets during our stay. It’s also just a short walk to Lonestar, which we ended up visiting several times — great food and a nice atmosphere.

The hotel is excellent! To be perfectly honest, the customer service is extraordinary The hotel is great because of the staff( hopefully management recognize this) the staff are amazing, wonderfully warm. welcoming and will do anything to better your experience To name but a few Tiffany/ Nicki, Shakeem and Crystal I know I have missed others but they are not forgotten The food was absolutely fantastic always beautifully presented never a disappointment I will be back sooner rather than later :)

From the moment we arrived at the Fairmont in Barbados, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable stay. The food was consistently excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, whether it was a casual beachside lunch or an elegant dinner. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every interaction felt sincere and attentive. You could tell the team enjoyed their work, and that kind of morale doesn’t happen by accident—it’s a reflection of strong, thoughtful management. When staff are supported and happy, it shows, and at the Fairmont, it translated into top-tier service across the board. This wasn’t just a luxury experience—it felt personal. It’s clear that the Fairmont doesn’t just invest in its property, but in its people, and that makes all the difference. Highly recommended. P.s. my wife would like to add: there are no bugs lol.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our eight day vacation at the beautiful Fairmont Pavilion! First and foremost, the beach, with its brilliant white sand, pristine, body refreshing waters, and awesome evening sunsets, is one of the most beautiful we have experienced in our many travels throughout the Caribbean. The fact that the weather was ideal during the majority of our stay, and the beach had zero sargassum sea weed (not the case with several other Barbados beaches) made our vacation that much more relaxing, exhilarating and euphoric. Secondly, the resort staff was invariably polite, personable and professional. Upon arrival, there was some staff confusion regarding the specific resort package we had purchased, but this issue was quickly and correctly resolved in our favor. Special recognition is due our maids Mareece and Shantel for their efficient and meticulous care of our “home away from home”. Kudos to the property manager for quickly replacing our damaged vanity chair. We greatly appreciate the stellar service rendered by bartender, St. Clair, and others like Kadijah, Ashlee, Rosella and our butler, Rolston, Finally, we would be remiss if we did not mention how much we enjoyed our culinary experiences at Fairmont. The food was generally delectable and salubrious. Particularly noteworthy was the lunch buffet that included stewed chicken, rice and peas, and several other delicious side dishes. Also, the breakfast dining area impressed us with a separate room filled with an awesome assortment of fruits, cereals, bread, muffins and pastries. They also recognized our 41st Wedding Anniversary with a cake and decorations on our bed. In summary, we would highly recommend Fairmont to anyone seeking a great time of swimming, dining and tranquil relaxing!

As a travel designer who has stayed at lots of resorts, I can confidently say the service at Fairmont Pavilion truly stands out. Ryan from the non-motorized water sports team at Fairmont Pavilion was absolutely amazing! He took us out on a sailboat excursion along the coast and made the whole experience so much fun. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and had great energy the entire time. The best part? He even let me take over and sail for a bit! It was such a memorable highlight of our trip. If you’re staying at the Fairmont, definitely find Ryan, you won’t regret it! And shoutout to Crystal at the restaurant, her service and hospitality were superb. She was so warm, attentive, and made us feel truly taken care of. Between the amazing staff and beautiful surroundings, this stay exceeded all expectations!

Fairmont Royal Pavilion has great potential with its beautiful setting, but the service fell short of our expectations as this is a high end hotel with a price tag to match. The Fairmont Pavilion has truly stunning views and is a picture perfect setting. However, the overall experience was let down by the level of service, which lacked the warmth and attentiveness Compared to other, even lower-rated hotels we’ve stayed at on the island, where staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay, the Fairmont felt impersonal. The service lacked that special touch that makes guests feel truly welcome and cared for. While the setting is undeniably beautiful, the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations, especially given the Fairmont’s reputation.
