Location good, in the middle of the old town. Breakfast is okay, you choose from a menu and they bring it to you so it's not like a self service all you can eat type of thing. Parking is around 100 m away from the place. Room was clean and we had no problem with it. I have to mention the bartender Miro, who welcomed us nicely, served us in the restaurant and brought the happy face. If it wasn't for him we would give a lower grade. We stayed two nights.

The rooms are just above the bar which on saturday night turns into a club and it is imposible to sleep until 2 o clock when the party finishes. It wasn't a problem for us because we opened the windows and "joined", but just a notice for people for whom it might be a deal breaker. All in all, the price is a bit more expensive just because of the location. Otherwise it is not worth the money.

I llove everything about Merlon. It was my 3rd time staying there, and I loved it. I don't mind the music from the pub, it does not influence my sleeping. The mentioned breakfast experience is not going to stop me from coming to stay again. I will return for sure!

This time I didn't like the service at the breakfast. The waiter was not explaining how ordering the breakfast works, and he expected me to know what is included and what is not included in my breakfast for free. He gave me the regular menu from the restaurant and I did not know what I should pay and what not. The breakfast section with dishes that are included in my room price were showed with a price tag, so I was confused. Also, I waited for the breakfast almost 30 min! i think it is too long when you have breakfast included in the price. I would suggest that you make a separate menu for breakfast for people who stay at your place and who have breakfast included in the bedroom booking. And let the guests know which parts of the breakfast they get included, and which ones they have to pay extra. Also please make it faster, some of us are in a rush in the morning and we need to have a quick breakfast. Having a buffet breakfast could help. There were no other dislikes. See you again!
