Spark by Hilton Mechanicsburg

The room was very clean, but lacked some basics, such as a coffee pot and glasses. just wo paper cups. Also, we would have liked a hot breakfast.

Our stay was great. Not fancy but practical. Only negative was the hot tub was lukewarm.

Didn't use the pool.

The shower in the bathroom did not work

Was new and fresh looking. Front desk staff was pleasant

Even though newly renovated things were not completed. Water pressure was in and out. Toilet wouldn’t flush when we first got there. Shower would go from low to higher pressure. Breakfast was just ok. Pool heater was also broken. Reduced fee should be applied when amenities aren’t available as promised.

The bathroom light was horrible, felt like it was dark in there. Bathroom outlet wasn't working, had to use outlet in bedroom to dry hair. When I stepped in the shower it sunk in, so I felt like it could lend itself to falling. The towels and wash cloths weren't soft at all. The driveway to this hotel needs to be fixed and the fence taken down. Has a sharp turn and at night it was very difficult to see, so could use some extra lighting.

Very clean and spacious room. Great location with grocery store and restaurants right next door. For us, it was also just 2 miles from our sister’s house.

The water pressure wasn’t great. Breakfast was really basic without any hot items. Juices were watered down.

The shower was very weak. Literally wasn’t sure if all of the shampoo was out of my hair. So little water pressure. Had a random guy try to open my door (could’ve been a mistake) but it sealed the deal doe me.

The location was good except for the traffic noise from the turnpike. Once you got used to it, though, it faded into the background.

The breakfast was substandard. Only options were a bagels, cold cereal, yogurt, microwave oatmeal, and greatly overboiled eggs; served on paper plates with plastic utensils. Get some meats, hot scrambled eggs, more varied bread selection. There was a bunch of space in the room that was unused. A very uncomfortable chair was the only option to sit other than the desk chair.
