The Hermitage Hotel

Beautiful Interiors, large spacious room, nice bathroom. Very clean everywhere. The c staff v was very friendly and attentive when you needed them. The location was away from the noise of Broadway but close enough for a nice walk. Close to Frothy Monkey and Puckett's for breakfast or lunch.

Spectacular in every way. Old school elegance entirely modernized in a tasteful, high class way. Top facilities, over the top staff, and a rightful place as one of America's best classic hotels. We walked everywhere: Parthenon park, country music Broadway, famous state capitol building. We used the cute, glassed walled coffee shop, the terrific on site restaurant, catered an affair, enjoyed the justly world famous lobby. Count us all in for more visits!

The Hermitage Hotel is an absolute gem. We celebrated our anniversary here, and it could not have been a more perfect setting for such a special occasion. As an interior designer, I’m always seeking the well designed hotels where every detail makes guests feel relaxed, pampered, and inspired — and The Hermitage delivers on every level. Design & Atmosphere Recently renovated, the hotel’s interiors are a perfect example of timeless elegance. From the restored stained-glass ceiling and historic brass chandeliers in the lobby to the refined palette and details throughout, the craftsmanship is impeccable. Our light-filled room felt serene and indulgent, featuring plush carpets, crisp bedding, and a spacious marble bathroom. The deep soaking tub — with its sculpted armrests and smooth surface — was the most luxurious I’ve ever experienced. The renovation beautifully preserves the hotel’s historic grandeur while integrating modern comforts expected by the well-traveled guest. Service & Experience Service was equally exceptional. The staff graciously arranged a private historical tour of the property, which included a behind-the-scenes peek at Drusie & Darr, where Jean-Georges was hosting an event with celebrity photographer Tim White. When our departing flight was delayed, the team kindly extended a late checkout — a small gesture that exemplified their high level of customer service. Style & Vibe What I love most about The Hermitage is its balance — luxe without being stuffy. The ambiance feels refined yet inviting, with a sense of “cool” that evokes the effortless sophistication of the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in the South of France. The new exhibit of Tim White’s celebrity photography adds a contemporary flair to this historic landmark. Location Perfectly situated downtown, The Hermitage is just a short walk from Broadway — the vibrant heart of Nashville’s live-music scene. We will always remember our stay at The Hermitage Hotel.

No complaints except that our hotel was not made up until late afternoon. We were in the room until late morning so once we notified the front desk, they sent housekeeping immediately.

The Hermitage Hotel is a lovely historic hotel in downtown Nashville! It truly is a magnificent place! The rooms were spacious and quiet, impeccably decorated and clean! The service was superb and the employees are all very helpful and friendly!

Incredible hotel and service. Amazing detail and history - might have been one of my favorite stays of all time. Easy walk to Broadway but off far enough to not have the noise. You can tell every staff member there takes pride in their job and customer service was absolutely exceptional from the housekeeping, bell man to the folks at the front door.

Hotel was nice, room was nice, problems were incorrect charges which they claim will fall off but should never been charged in the first place. Front desk explanation was not acceptable, restaurant was poorly run and slow accommodating guests, only serving 20 people poorly while they could have accommodated 100. Just goto a better high end hotel, lots of choices in Nashville, this one stinks.

The Hospitality Team at the Hermitage, led by Odival, was amazingly accommodating and professional. We have been to several 5-star hotels in the US, but from Jordan the concierge to the bar tenders to the staff at Pink Hermit, it really felt like 6-stars. The hotel’s heritage and pedigree, along with its excellent location combine to make it the brightest gem in Music City.

This is wonderful hotel with excellent service and staff. The hotel itself is beautiful, staff in every position were helpful in making us feel welcome and advising us on where to go and things to do while in town, just had a feeling that they all enjoyed the hotel and city as much as we did coming to visit. My only complaint is that the complimentary morning coffee service is only downstairs and nothing available in room without ordering room service as I am a first thing in the morning coffee drinker and it’s nice to have a cup when getting ready rather than after I’m dressed and ready so an I’m room small coffee pot would be nice.
