"It was very disappointing as I have stayed there several times in the past."

The cookies.

There were bed bugs in the bathroom crawling. We saw 3. Took pictures and video recordings. Room was dirty under bathroom sink where clean towels were. A tampon, cup, silverware was left under the bathroom sink. Head board on bed was dirty with oily stains and dirt.

"Quick stop in Illinois"

This DoubleTree seems to be an older hotel that has done a few updates. Seemed like they might have been short staffed as housekeepers were working at 8:00pm. I was disappointed that the pool was closed the gym had working equipment and free weights. Breakfast wasn’t free. Shower curtain needs replaced and the rug appears dirty. This is the second DoubleTree we’ve stayed at within the past week, both hotels had these half pillows, never seen that before, personally I don’t care for them.
