Four Points by Sheraton Richmond Airport

The location is ideal due to being near RIC.

I did not care for the entry door to the room. It had a large gap on one side, & the door had notches in that did not allow the security latch to stop someone from entering. I also did not like sharing an adjoining door to what used to be part of a suite. The noise was loud from other guests.

There was a note in the middle of my bed that if I was reading that note the sheets had not been changed. It was dated 2days prior to my arrival. When brought to the front desk attention there was no concern. They asked me if I wanted to someone to come change the sheets. Poor customer service

I get to the property try to check in, the lady at the desk says I have no reservation. I show her my confirmation number and she still says I have no reservation that I need to call booking.com. I keep insisting that I do and she finally finds it with some lame excuse

The room was really nice. Bed was comfortable. Carpet in the halls are buckling and could use replacing. For the price of this hotel I expected better.

The hotel is located in Montrose area, east of Richmond, west of Richmond Airport. There are many restaurants and shopping centers within a few minute drive. Plenty of free parking outside the hotel. The building is a long 4-story building with an elevator on each side. Breakfast was not originally included in our booking, so I can't tell much about it. We went down once to see, but the place looked empty. Still, they did deliver water bottles to the room. The room was average in size. The bed was a little too high, and also made a little noise when moving. There was a small (quiet) fridge and a microwave. There was also a little "night light" which is nice to have. The air conditioner was noisy, and we turned it off during the night. At night we occasionally heard some similar noise from outside - perhaps the neighbors' air conditioner or some other machine. The shower was comfortable and not leaking to the floor around. Our room was next to the elevator, which made every elevator ride noisy in the room. Bottom line: A good choice for visiting Richmond.
