Aberdeen Airport Dyce Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by BW

On arrival hotel had no appeal looked run down, hotel staff friendly and helpful,hotel room was ok but have stayed better,

For a price they have,should be better. Staff is very good,very pleasant...I book years there because is near helliport and they have breakfast at 05h am,what I like... They must renovated rooms,bathrooms first... Too old

The picture on your website is very diseptive as this is a rather dated Motel

Big room comfortable bed But generally very dates in need of a freshen up. Breakfast good but restaurant menu very limited basic chain pub food.

On arrival to the what we booked as a hotel, we were informed that it was infact a motel and the member of staffs words were ‘it looks rough but the rooms are comfy’ how right she was! I was actually afraid to exit the reception to what I was going to discover. We entered the reception and bar building (as this is a different building from the accommodation) check in was fairly straight forward then we were invited to the bar for a drink. The pint of carslberg we received for a Meer £4.50 a pint was very below average for the price range. I then proceeded to order a snack off of the bar menu, I went for nachos as the same option but I could have scrubbed up something better myself-again very below average. At first we weren’t sure where the rooms but the employee informed us we had to go outside and cross over to get to our room. We went up a stair case which I can only describe as what looked like an old tenement building in the Glasgow slums of yesteryear. Dampness and paint flicking off the wall, wasn’t a pretty sight. The room in all honesty wasn’t that bad I’ve experienced worse on some budget holidays but knowing what the outside surroundings was like I couldn’t be as ease to get a decent nights sleep. I slept for around 2 hours due to the uneasiness and heat in the room. The next morning shower was very irregular with hot water but done the job I suppose. Would not recommend unless you are used to poor conditions. A generous 3/10

Shocking set up from the Go! Reception took about 10mins for somebody to even acknowledge I was waiting to check in. Got sent the wrong way for my room, Room: zero ventilation or A/C in the room. Beds were noisy and hardest I’ve slept on. Shower well the shower was basically non existent!!! Had to sit down in the bath tub to get any water flow thru as the pressure was so low it couldn’t reach the shower head in position. Staff / Bar: Good food but that was about it.. Couldn’t enjoy my meal as there was one or two patrons shouting and swearing continuously with some of the worst language I’ve ever heard, this is with female staff and patrons present. Never heard the C*** word used more times in a sentence in my life, not one member of staff even blinked an eyelid. Overall: Distaster of a stay and thankful it was only half a nights stay.
