The contents of the takeaway breakfast box (as we had to check out very early) did not at all correspond to the price paid for breakfast; it was sparse and of poor quality.

Le dimensioni del letto matrimoniale erano ridicolmente troppo piccole. Abbiamo dormito una sopra all’altra per due notte. Abbiamo segnalato il problema e il massimo che ci è stato detto è riassumibile nel seguente concetto: “si è vero, non chiariamo nei nostri annunci le dimensioni dei nostri letti matrimoniali, ma sono le dimensioni del Regno Unito, dovreste conoscerle”. Ovviamente, nessuna accortezza o accenno di intenzione di rimediare è stata manifestata. Inoltre, non ci è stata rifatta la camera, sono stati solo sostituiti gli asciugamani. Il letto ce lo siamo rifatti da soli. Il tutto per 600 pound per due notti. Il peggior hotel 4 stelle e servizio mai visto.

Fenster lassen sich nur minimal hochschieben, jeden Tag neue Handtücher ist übertrieben, Frühstücksraum könnte etwas gemütlicher ausgestattet sein

We had a great 4-night stay at voco Edinburgh Royal Terrace. The room was comfortable and well kept, and the location made it easy to walk to many of the city’s main sights. The staff were young, friendly, and full of helpful recommendations for places to eat, which we really appreciated. We didn’t use the restaurant or bar, but everything about our stay was smooth and enjoyable. A very nice base for exploring Edinburgh.

Nothing comes to mind. Good, safe walking area.

Small bathroom

Nice building with spacious rooms. Location is very close to city center and behind a hill so no noise from busy center. We specially enjoyed the green garden and the nice staff at the breakfast table.

Great location, with lovely park behind the property

The bedrooms were small and somewhat scruffy. No arm chair and little room to walk around the bed. The bath had disfiguring enamel missing which made it look unclean. The wash basin didn’t drain properly. The room and bathroom needed redecoration and the window could only be kept open by putting a toilet roll to to give a few inches gap.
