Old Waverley Hotel

Struttura pulita e confortevole così come la camera e il bagno.Ci è stata assegnata una camera rinnovata da poco molto grande e lo stesso per il bagno.Veramente una bella stanza.Con accesso con carta magnetica molto funzionale.Per quanto riguarda il personale molto gentile e professionale.

Purtroppo le finestre della struttura sono un pò datate (forse per qualche vincolo non possono essere cambiate) e non avendo il doppio vetro il rumore esterno si sente moltissimo quindi per chi ha il sonno leggero la notte è abbastanza fastidioso.

Hotel posizionato nella new town vicinissimo ai maggior punti d'interesse,ci sono nelle vicinanze molti negozi supermercati ristoranti e caffetteria etc. Struttura pulita e confortevole così come la camera e il bagno.Personale della reception e di sala gentile e professionale.Abbiamo ricevuto un upgrade omaggio della camera con affaccio su Princes Street e la old town di edimburgo e sul famoso monumento ad Adam Scott.

Essendo su una strada principale se ne paga un po in rumore soprattutto la notte quindi non adatto a chi ha il sonno leggero.Ma la vista merita tanto. La colazione un pò scarsina per la parte dolce.

夜中に非常ベルが突然何回か鳴って起こされた。 まちがいなのかと私は外へ出なかったけれど最悪でした。

The breakfast was good. It would be nice to have a smaller option other than the buffet.

We did not realize that the VAT added to hotel rooms would be 20% which, across 4 nights, added substantially to the cost of the room, making it much more expensive than the price that I agreed to at booking.

Our second stay. We stayed in one of the refurbished bedrooms and it has been done very nicely. Our view wax stunning as we were higher this time. Bed very comfortable. Staff as last time were helpful. Breakfast kept us going all day. Lewis on reception was helpful with directions. We didn't need it but there is a luggage area were you put your luggage if you arrive early or you are not leaving Edinburgh until later. Location location is absolutely key to this hotel so near to the train station. Tram and bus stops and easy to walk to most places from here. We will be back in 2028 see you all then

Location was excellent and close to transportation and beautiful landmarks. Breakfast room was elegant.

Outside noises were irritating. Soundproof glass might ensure a better night’s sleep.

The Old Waverly provided the perfect way to feel at home in Edinburgh. The location could not be better: near the train station, and in walking distance of all of Edinburgh sites. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Thank you!
