NL-mooi oud gebouw, goed onderhouden, sfeervol en kleurrijk ingericht -vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel -gratis afgesloten parkeerplek bereikbaar, behorend bij het hostal -goed ontbijt. Wij kregen de eerste dag verse broodjes met boter en jam, eieren, fruit, vruchtensap en koffie. Alleen werd ons pas de volgende dag duidelijk dat je blijkbaar kon kiezen tussen eieren en yoghurt. We zagen andere mensen wel yoghurt eten. -prijs/kwaliteit
-de kamer werd niet schoongemaakt (wij verbleven er twee nachten) -ontbijt pas om 07:30 mogelijk -ontbijt de tweede ochtend was wel iets kariger! Een van ons vroeg van tevoren yoghurt ipv eieren, echter er bleek nu ook een keuze gemaakt te moeten worden tussen fruit òf yoghurt. Mijn man kreeg uiteindelijk koffie, sap, verder alleen brood en fruit. Ik kreeg die dag koffie, sap, verder alleen brood en eieren (ook geen fruit). Anders moest er bijbetaald worden. Wij zagen andere mensen wel aan de yoghurt mèt fruit, maar die hadden vast bijbetaald! Uiteindelijk hebben mijn man en ik samen alles gedeeld. We kregen wel een schaaltje extra jam.

CHSuch a great place to stay in Otavalo. Great location just a few steps away from the city center. Lovely, freshly prepared, breakfast in the morning, clean rooms, quiet at night, staff was so kind and welcoming. Free private parking is available. Definitely recommend.
GBThis hostal is like an oasis in the buzzing town of Otavalo. I just stayed two nights to discover the surrounding of this town (12km hike around the crater lagoon of Cuicocha and the waterfall of Peguche). The hostal offers a good breakfast which ca be enjoyed in its beautiful garden. There is good wifi at the property and staff is very friendly and helpful with any requests I had. There are plenty of restaurants and bars all in short walking distance.
