USGreat location with a beautiful garden courtyard setting. The courtyard is a wonderful extension of the common areas and a nice break from the sounds of outside.
The people and owner which are excellent human beings. You also meet people from other countries and share a lot of anecdotes.
KZdidn't want to leave the hotel - beautifully decorated, with cozy inner courtyard with a fountain, fireplace in a library and spacious garden. Loved the fact that the hotel is a family business that has been passed from generation to generation. it has a sense of home in the best ways. the location is great - in historical centre. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

AULovely property in great location to walk to local attractions and restaurants or super easy and cheap to catch buses to nearby towns .large quiet rooms with block out blinds Breakfast was best in our 3 months in Ecuador Staff were brilliant and nearly all fluent in English which is unusual in Ecuador.

The two things that stand out to me that I thought were top notch were the convenience of the location and the excellent service by everyone who worked there. The room was not above average but everything else was. I enjoyed having breakfast on the patio each morning and I loved sitting in the garden right outside my door. I would absolutely stay here again.
