Cleanliness

The room was very small but we managed to put our cases on the spare bed. No cutlery or crockery was supplied but a quick walk to the office and we were able to find some. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was good. The meal we had from the restaurant was delicious and flavoursome. The chef was friendly and happy.

the pool area was infested by ants so we weren't able to sit and have our happy hour around the pool as intended. A bit too far to walk to town but there is one taxi which we booked.

The location is good, although not quite walking distance to town. The pool was nice.

Away from the main roads so super quiet. Beds were comfy

Booking.com does not provide the correct key collect code, and the reception area was not manned during usual business hours. Called the the numbers provided and got the code. However incorrect key had been provided. Called the numbers again and was told someone would be there in 5 minutes. We wait 20 minutes (in a heat wave) yes we could have waited in the cool car but for some reason we didn't. After no one rocking up for 20 minutes I Called the number but no response when finally the main operator arrived and explained the situation however a quick call from the person who had said they would be 5 minutes would have made the waiting acceptable and we would have jumped in the car while we waited. Nearly cancelled the booking. Also website stated there was a restaurant however this was not operating at the time. Not sure if it still is

Great location close to town centre with easy access from main roads. Very clean throughout.

Check in staff were off hand and uninterested in service. Restaurant not available. Difficult parking. Compact room with no exhaust fan in shower/toilet.
