Coffs Windmill Motel

Located on the southern side of the cbd, right on the highway. A huge property. Ground floor room with parking at the door. We were at the back of the property so it was very quiet. Room was huge. Comfy beds, a sofa and decent sized shower. Fridge had no freezer compartment so just an FYI if you are relying on having a freezer, just speak with receptionist to see if it’s possible to get a room that accommodates your needs. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They made note to bring any questions to them so they can try and help, so I’m sure they’d do all they can to help.

It is a bit of a drive if you want to go get takeout, but there is a restaurant onsite and you can order room service. Not a criticism, just something to consider when planning your stay.

Large room, bulk toiletries including shaving cream.

Property on edge of town; room rather tired, needs painting; sofa in terrible condition, couldn't sit on it; one upright chair only (in a room for 3 people); two cutlery packs with combined 3 knives, 1 fork and 1 spoon, no teaspoons; no tea towel or anything to wash up with. Very expensive for what it was: $218 per night.

Usually like Windmill, but this time there was an issue with something mechanical outside room 21 that intermittently groaned. Noticed it too late to request change of rooms. This is an outlier to my usual experience.

On the highway and easy to locate heading north to Queensland. It was a clean large room with comfy bed and snd clean linens.

We were only there for a quick stop over and it was ok ..
