EVERYTHING. The Coffs Harbour Windmill Motel exhibits a rich and varied plethora of charms, that , from the moment the motel guest steps foot onto the property, will find themselves engulfed by. Whether it be the Windmill , itself , a monument that harks back to , perhaps , a simpler time, but no less grand. A time of infinite possibilities, a time before things like emails, mobile phones and personal computers. A time when the owner of a motel could cast his or her gaze over their property and , say, without fear nor favour: "YES, YES WE CAN! YES WE CAN BUILD A LIFE SIZED WINDMILL HERE. A WINDMILL SO VAST, SO GRAND, IT'LL SURPASS IN SCALE AND BEAUTY, ANY OTHER WINDMILL THAT CAME BEFORE IT AND ANY YET TO BE BUILT IN THE ENSUING DECADES, SINCE. A WINDMILL that says to ALL- whether that be The Family Guy seeking a few days of refuge from his world of work, the world weary traveler needing a comfortable bed and pillow to rest their weary head. The vacationer pondering the endless possibilities that an extended time in the coastal paradise of Coffs Harbour could provide- Says to all of the above manner of tourist "BUILD IT. BUILD IT AND THEY WILL COME!' And, come they did! In their 70's panel vans, their 80s fluro zinc cream, the 90s with their Blockbuster videos, with their noughties Nokia's, their tens laptops and their 20's smart phones- they came to The Windmill and paid homage to this greatest of all Australian landmarks- The Windmill OF ALL Windmills. And from those Grand beginnings came a motel that succeeded in confidently saying to th it's guests : "Under this Windmill ANYTHING is possible. Worship the Windmill and The Windmill shall provide anything you need , accommodation and service wise to make your stay in Coffs a time of joy. A time of wonderment. A time where it FEELS GREAT TO BE ALIVE.

It's impossible to dislike perfection. What's not to like ?

Cleanliness

Shower was temperamental

The room was huge!! The host was very accomodating for our last minute, late arrival booking.

Would’ve liked to have the correct amount of plates and cutlery to the amount of guests arriving.

the room was dated in some aspects, however was very comfortable and clean. would stay again.

Clean room. Clean linen and towels. Able to park at the door of the room. Spacious.

Staff member not that friendly. Air con was quite loud. Old mattress not that comfortable. Location on highway only good for those travelling north.

Short stay, the beds are comfortable
