Need to improve parking issue. At least guest's staying in the place should be able to park thier vehicle inside. Please look at this issue. This is the only thing i didn't liked but everything else is very Good.
Room was very dirty and the hotel was very loud very poor experience
Almost due for an upgrade
The kettle and coffee facilities were dirty. The room was in poor condition. Shower head sprayed water everywhere, sink was split and room was in a poor state in general. I enjoy staying at The Prince of Wales regularly but this room was disgusting.
On check-in I was not asked for ID or any verification made to ensure it was the correct person for the booking. First impressions as you enter the room, the nauseating smell of glen20 disinfectant spray. And from there it goes down hill. There is a discrepancy between the images and information on your Hotels website and the room we stayed in compared to the business website. The room was described as “economy” on your site and “budget” on theirs. Semantically they leave different impressions. I have attached screenshots of the images shown on your site. They depict 2 very different rooms and a living room . We were able to pick our room from the 2 shown but it was a poor representation of the unattractive painted brick walls and very outdated bathroom. And were was the living room. The owners website noted there were several rooms still unrennovated. This was missing from the description and information on the Hotels site. The view from the window was of a graffiti (and not the artistic kind) covered concrete wall of an alleyway and common walk way. The light on the landing remained on all night. In the morning we woke to the sound of what sounded like a child screaming which was in fact the sound of the water pipes while our neighbour in the accompanying room was showering. Our own pipes sounded like the basilisk was trying to break through the walls of Hogwarts while the shower itself sprayed water over the whole room.

Loved the pool Pillows were wafer thin, slept uncomfortably.
Very comfortable place to stay; close to the river which is lovely for a long walk, and close to the main street for places to eat and shop. Highly recommend this accomodation.

The Prince of Wales was perfect for our stay. The unit was quiet, cool in the hot weather, spacious with everything we needed for the week. Location was perfect, close to the venues for our Strings Program, riverside walks, parks and playgrounds, museums and galleries. We loved swimming in the pool on hot afternoons.
