Apartments Bralovic

Gorgeous through and through! Such lovely friendly hosts! The pool was amazing and gave us the perfect respite when we needed a rest. Loved it!

The hosts were really friendly and a key reason for staying here. They were very helpful, giving advice on how best to experience the region. It makes so much difference staying in a place like this on holiday compared to apartments run by faceless organisations with no one around to ask for help. The views are also fantastic.

Hosts were AMAZING. They actually collected us from the bus stop and provided drinks on arrival (unexpected). spectacular views. The property has its own tavern with drinks available made by the owners. Great communication from the hosts before arrival and at the property. The owner also dropped us off at the local pizza restaurant. It was great to see the owners cat wandering around (don't touch his belly!). We would have loved to stay longer but were running short of time to see more of Croatia

The property is built on the side of a mountain and if you walk everywhere like us it can be difficult to get to the local shops without a car - not the owners fault!

It’s location away from Dubrovnik and high up on the hillside was so peaceful after a busy day sightseeing. It is located with a couple of others within the owners own home and she was always available for things and chatting! The bed is large(king I think) but importantly it is of good quality, and has a thick memory foam topper. I have back issues and beds are always a risk for me but we slept so well in this one. It was firm but not hard with no dips or roll together. Initially I was surprised by a blanket instead of a duvet and asked for a second one….but I soon realised that one,or just a sheet was enough! The cooking facilities were adequate for 2 people and it had a good fridge freezer. The shower was powerful, hot and good and the addition of a washing machine in the bathroom was so helpful. We only took hand luggage and washed.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. I mentioned toMaria that the addition of a floor lamp in the lounge area would be nice as the ceiling light is too harsh at night when you want to look out of the window. The sofa was a simple sofa bed so wasn’t especially comfy for lounging on but we were so tired in the evenings, we sat on the balcony or laid on the bed to read and in Oct it was pitch dark by6.00pm.

The location/views were stunning and it was prefect base for exploring the whole area whilst being out of but close to Dubrovnik. Marija and Stijepo were great hosts, so friendly and accommodating, sharing and full of recommendations.

Great location, close to many nice beaches, amazing sunset view. The apartment had everything we needed, pool was really clean and the hosts super friendly. Everyday they brought us fresh figs and sweets.

We loved staying at Apartments Bralovic. The view from the terrace was stunning, as well as from the pool area, which is a great place to relax. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. We felt very comfortable there, also because of extremely kind hosts. Miss Marija is a really warm person with a big heart. Would love to come back.
