"Not up to standard !"

As Accor members we were offered a room with a King bed at the front of the hotel facing the main road next to the McDonalds drive in ,after much discussion and checking several rooms (apparently because it was a Sunday afternoon no other King rooms in any quieter part were available) we found one which was much quieter. We decided to dine in the restaurant and have the "special" of Chicken Kiev and vege's , what came had been deep fried for a very long time and mixed vege's from a freezer pack. The Smart TV worked sporadically due to internet issues and the refrigerater freezer was so covered in ice that it wouldn't freeze ice cubes. I spoke to the Duty Manager when we checked out and got the usual thank you for your feedback and the comment that the road noise wasn't as bad as it used to be !
