Botanical Motel

Staff excellent. Room comfortable. Perfectly located. Easy walk to shops and restaurants. Plenty of food options.

Clean and comfortable. Everything worked. Great central location next to a fairly quiet road. Tired appearance in places.

The room itself was fine but do not use rooms 28 - 32. We were right in front of the kitchen back door. Apart from deliveries all day long we had the kitchen door slamming every 15mins from 6:30am thru to 9pm. Deliveries included colourful conversations not suitable for children and we enjoyed watching the knives being sharpened on the back of a van for over 20 mins - grinding and screeching. Not peaceful at all. Each time you open the room door you get a whiff of cigarette smoke from either the kitchen staff or in the morning from the cleaning staff.

The motel was located near the cbd of Hamilton which is a country town located approximately three hundred kilometers from Melbourne, Australia, making it a very convenient place to stay.

Very comfortable for a one night stay. Close to the town centre

Room is a reasonable size with a queen and single bed. Ample bench space.

Fantastic staff and excellent food ! I was running late and phoned and they allowed me to order for dinner to be ready when I arrived at 9pm so I didn’t miss out. Rooms are old but very clean and comfortable Electric blankets on beds and easy parking . All the basics for an overnight stay - it’s not the park royal but it’s a clean friendly county hotel

Room was neat and tidy and very comfortable. Bathroom was impressively clean. Only negative would be that there was no microwave in the room, this is the only accommodation I’ve stayed at that hasn’t had one supplied. This made our stay difficult as my young son had been in hospital all day after having surgery and it was difficult trying to accomodate his need to eat soft foods with no microwave.

Nice, clean room, simply check in, great restaurant, central location. And an electric blanket on a cold Hamilton night. Staff are great too
