Busy road but quiet

The location was perfect, a few steps away are a few lovely cafes for the morning. It's a short drive to town and an even shorter drive to Auckland Zoo and MOTAT. The staff were super friendly and on to it. The bathroom was recently remodeled and looked lovely. The room was spacious and welcoming.

Unfortunately there was a negative. When we first arrived, one of the bed sheets had several stains in a line. I called the front desk and they were horrified and immediately sent someone who cleaned everything up and replaced the sheets before immaculately making the bed. I do have to note this as it wasn't an ideal first impression but I understand mistakes happen. On a smaller note the single bed didn't have much padding and the springs felt mildly uncomfortable.

The location is great and the staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable with comfortable beds.

The walls are very thin, so you can hear the other rooms. There’s not enough parking on the site but it’s still better than other Auckland properties.
