SpringHill Suites Anchorage Midtown

What I expect from a. Midgrade hotel. Alaska is just very expensive this time of year

The room was very large and well laid out. Staff was nice. Breakfast was not quite as good as I expected.

The rate is was given through booking.com was not the price I paid 100 more than what I was given

The hotel IS NOT NEAR DOWNTOWN. The description is all incorrect. You are in the middle of ??? Staff was nice. The rooms were clean.

We had a great stay. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. The staff was very friendly. The morning breakfast had a great variety. It was very appreciated.

Stay somewhere else. The air conditioning and TV didn’t work. Apparently, it happens all the time and the management knows about it. They told us at the front desk that 6 other rooms were complaining. When we were complaining about the air we saw We saw someone that went to Walmart to buy a fan because their air didn’t work. We were there for 4 days. We paid $500 a night and services were null. No clean towels, coffee not replenished. Housekeeping came in once to clean the room when we requested everyday. We have traveled all over the world, this is a 1 star hotel in my book. What a pit.

Here in Alaska with a group of friends. Our room on the 2nd floor has A/C issues. Was told they are "sold out" so could not move us to another room. They brought us a box fan. Also, TV service and internet are spotty, at best. Friendly staff who tried their best to be helpful, but disappointed in the accommodations.

The room and bed was comfortable, but the traffic noise was unwelcome. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I think I would describe them as seasoned; they aren’t unskilled summer help and they are greatly appreciated. This was our 1st ever stay in Alaska (1st night or what passes for night) so we didn’t linger. We did enjoy the breakfast!

Very friendly staff & clean hotel . The continental breakfast in the morning had a lot of variety very fresh food was a nice treat as we were here on medical and had no time to leave before our appointments.

I was concerned of the location lots of transits homeless people loitering around…it has changed a lot in downtown Anchorage number one the property has posted signs that they’re not responsible for a vehicle on their property? I had a hard time sleeping do to outside street noise I was on the side above the front desk overlooking parking lot & main Street runs in front of the hotel. My bed was right next to the window. Only other complaint was I had reserved a king suite with handicap facilities once entering our room we had two queen double beds. They were not able to give the room I had pre-purchased so they had already gave our room a way ? I’m not sure why they would do that knowing I had reserved & pain for that type of room! They didn’t even tell us at check-in about it found out once I opened the door to the room to expect once we arrived to the room….they did apologize, but it was too late. I also had a problem with the phone as I was trying to call them once I figured out we had the wrong room. Her phone wasn’t working upon inspection. It was disconnected and the telephone cord was missing. The front desk girl said she would talk to her manager in the morning and give us the room the next day they would try to give us back that room the next day, but we we only booked one night.
