"Good for a night's stay"

Location was good, very close to shopping and restaurants. Room was spacious and modern. Good breakfast

The room lacked lighting, there were no ceiling lights and it felt like floor lamps may have been missing which would have given additional lighting. The air-conditioning unit was positioned badly adjacent to the bed and blew cold air into the face of whoever was sleeping on that side of the bed. The overall feel of the hotel was a bit soulless, especially the lobby.

"It's a good hotel stay in Palm Desert."

Liked free parking, comfortable bed, hot tub, good breakfast options.

Key card wasn't functioning when I tried to leave pool area. Had to get assistance.

Получили неудачный опыт- в гостинице не работал бойлер, не было горячей воды, ледяная вода в бассейне. Пришлось по середине отпуска искать другую гостиницу. Очень не комфортное расположение ванной комнаты в номере( в середине, с неплотно закрывающейся дверью).

"Good"

Room was clean and comfortable

No hot water during my stay. The shower was gross looking, the rest of the room was nice. I wouldn’t feel clean after showering even if I could shower. They didn’t do about having no hot water, just offered points. At check in they told me it would be working in a hour or so. That was not true.

"Enjoyable stay stained by hotels lack of effort to make a wrong thing right"

Good amenities, solid breakfast.

The property didn’t have hot water due to a plumbing issue. I’m really not bothered by the fact that I had to shower in cold water, but I am bothered by the fact that the hotel and the staff went to no lengths to make it right. Changing my stay an hour ahead of check in with no cost is really not an accommodation.

"2 days out of 4 with no hot water"

I booked 4 nights and the last 2 days there was no hot water! They said a boiler unit brokedown and would be repaied in a couple of hours but it never recovered to provide hot water. Half the trip to play golf with no hot water, not a good experience.

"Evidence of bad leadership"

Wow, what a terrible display of bad leadership and the resulting indifference that tarnishes a great brand. -We arrived early after our concierge arranged early check in. Upon arrival the only room available was an Accessible room. When we declined, the young man at the reception said to come back after 1pm, that it was likely our desired room would be available earlier AND that he would call (but never did). -When we came back later, the same receptionist checked us into the exact room we had previously declined, with no recollection of the previous conversation. -Additionally, there was a giant leak in a ceiling pipe that was leaking into our room. While he moved us to a smaller room when we reported the leak, there was no sense of urgency to call someone to make repairs or prevent further damage to the hotel. He returned to whatever he was doing on his phone for at least the next 30min (since I got to watch while taking a call myself). Absolute minimum effort in display. -Repeated requests to replace the coffee machine went ignored for the duration of our stay. -Fast forward to 5 days later: No hot water in the shower in the morning. We suffered through it like kids at summer camp, reported it to the front desk and went about our day. Returned at 10pm to wash the desert off and STILL no hot water. -No apologies, no notices to guests checking in, nothing. -The beleaguered night receptionist reported that 3 out of 4 of the hot water heaters were out because of a burst pipe and he was supposed to have received an update by 4:30pm. He took our room number and added it to the list of other rooms who had called and said we would receive a reduced rate for the inconvenience. The only professional we encountered during our stay. -The following day, there’s still no hot water. The new receptionist offered 5000 points instead of any kind of reduced rate or credit. (For reference, booking 1 night at that time of year would be 37,000 points). We’ve been elite tier Marriott/Bonvoy members for decades. I hope this isn’t the model for building loyalty.
