SpringHill Suites by Marriott Waterford / Mystic

We were so happy with our choice to stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was awesome and the dining area was comfortable with large TVs to catch up on Sports. The indoor pool was like a sauna, the room and pool was nice and warm, they had pool towels, and I could look out the large window at the snow over the lake. The rooms were a great design for 3 people and someone working remotely. The room had a nice sized desk and office chair that was separate from the area with the beds. The room also had a fridge, microwave, sleeper sofa and 2 TVs. My only complaint was that I found the bed to be too firm for me, so I had trouble sleeping. Also, the elevator was not working and lucky for us, we were on the first floor, because if we were on the 2nd or 3rd floor, that would have been a problem with luggage and stairs. All in all, for the price and the choice of hotels in this area, you can't beat this one!

It was clean, great location , room was nice and roomy , comfortable, staff at the front desk were polite and friendly, great breakfast options.

Only issue was the elevator was out of service. I was on the second floor so not a big deal.

Our stay was really good, the breakfast was excellent. The only downside was that the elevator was not working. Rest was good, staff was helpful and friendly

The room was a great size and it's in a location with places to go.

The front desk person, she was rude and barely communicated with me. Also, the heat in the room was an issue. The vents worked but when the heat turn on it keep blowing under the curtains. In order for the to stop, I had to keep the curtains open all night and let her parking lights shine in the room.

Nothing notable, good or bad, totally adequate.

Clean hotel with good breakfast and close to USCGA. Will be booking again if my Grandson gets in.

Hotel was great for a short stay! I do wish there were lotion/ shower cap/ etc provided but other than that it was great!

Accommodating and welcoming staff. Overall it’s a clean hotel, and seems to have a few options for shopping and dining close to the property. I’m just passing by but if I come back this way, will definitely stay here again.
