Good position on King Street, and staff very helpful.

I booked this hotel via booking.com on 22/01/24 which I have used on numerous occasions without issue. The booking was for one night for myself and my husband and I had booked a restaurant on the Main Street for a meal that evening. We arrived at 15.00 to check in we had had numerous emails confirming our stay and the parking facilities. I had to take a seat as the bar was busy and rugby matches were on the many screens around the bar. Eventually a young girl came to deal with us to inform us they had no record of our booking. I sent her the screen shot of my confirmation and she left for what felt like an age she came back on the phone to booking.com and proceeded to serve customers while we stood there like lemons. There was no apology just it was booking.coms fault they had nothing to offer us and obviously couldn’t care less that we had travelled to stay there. We had no alternative but to leave and travel home to say we were disappointed was an understatement. In all fairness the place looked like a dump and I think they did us a favour. Suffice to say I would never book with them again.

Staff very caring and cheerful Could not do enough for me on arrival ! Rooms were modern with good amenities Great location for other restaurants and drinking places should you wish to go ! Small car park at the rear but had no issues parking

Middle of town

Friendly staff but needs better management all around. The bar seems confused. Sports bar but also catering for B&B, cbeebies playing on the TV at breakfast..bit weird. We stayed in room 3, am annex outside. The room was a good size with a massive comfy bed with quality pillows. BUT the bathroom was a massive disappointment and grossed is out a little. There was mold around the mirror, stains in the shower, some kind of goo around the toilet and the toilet brush hasn't been cleaned it replaced in a very long time. Such a shame as the room itself was pleasant. Quality breakfast but it did feel like you're eating in a two bit bar area. Location is spot on. Have pics on request. Update/clean the bathroom please!

We were booked in for 3 nights. First room we were given was filthy and had numerous broken fittings such as shower and toilet flush. We were moved to another room that was marginally cleaner. We pointed out missing light bulbs and non working radiators but these were never fixed. They then forgot to clean that room. We were promised a refund but that has not been paid! Every time we complained the staff were very apolgetic...but after a catalogue of issues we just cant think of anything good to say. Very dissappointing.

Dirty rooms, broken fittings, room not services, still waiting for the refunds we were promised.

Great pub and rooms are located in a quiet area so good sleep had every time! Right in the centre of Knutsford 4 minutes from the train station on Manchester, Stockport, Chester line!
