It was great

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. I booked a room **two months in advance** to attend a music festival in Raleigh. I drove all the way from **Charlotte**, excited for the weekend, only to arrive and be told **my reservation had been canceled**—on the **same day** of check-in. No notice. No explanation. No room. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was told by **employee Gee**, who was incredibly **rude and unhelpful**, that **there was no manager or supervisor on site**. He later admitted that **Alyssa Hunter**, the supervisor, **canceled my reservation to give it to someone else who paid more**. That is not only unethical—it’s disgusting customer service. I was kept on hold for **over an hour** when trying to reach customer service, and no one offered any solution. No assistance, no apology, no compensation. I ended up **having to turn around and drive back to Charlotte**, completely missing the festival because all other hotels has been booked. I would not recommend; definitely not the Marriott way.
