Extended Stay America Select Suites - Chicago - Darien

I enjoyed my stay. Very quiet and nice room

Arrived just after 6pm. Room we were given hadn't been cleaned. Opened the door and turned around, right back to the checkin desk. After getting a second room, the bathroor doorknock fell off just opening the door. Told the front desk at checkout and wasn't offered even an apology. On the second floor and very noisy from the room above. Will not stay again and will not recommend.

The place was wonderful, in enjoyed every minute of it. I will be back again.

Everything was perfect.

I liked it because it was around my family that I was visiting...and near stores that I could buy food to cook instead of always eating out...and very close to highways...

I didn't like the fact that I paid for this hotel to stay at so I could cook my foods....BUT!! Now they will not provide any plates pots and pans and silverware for us that are just visiting....which makes no sense to me....that means that I have to bring my own when I am visiting my family....which might make me look for another place to stay if the price is right...I mean if I can't cook why bother....right?...sometimes bringing my own can be a big hassle...

The staff and the room was clean and made u feel like at home me to go place for now on thank you....

There is nothing good to say about this property. Our non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes. You had to fill the toilet yourself if you wanted to flush it because the tank didnt fill. The TV didnt work. The air conditioner didnt work. Despite all of these issues, we didnt even have the option to switch rooms because the entire time we were on the property, there wasnt a single employee on site.

Checkin was early and the desk people were awesome
