Great inexpensive hotel. Friendly staff

Everything. From the welcome Lia gave us to each and every one of the rest of the staff that had a genuinely joyful way about them. Happy to be present each time we interacted with them. Location was perfect. Quiet and accommodating in every way. Cleanliness was not expected as it’s an extended stay for those whom choose to use it that way but clean as all can be in every aspect. Fresh linens, towels and pillows. Nothing appeared worn. Even the laundry room and gym were a pleasure to be around and not dirty as others have been. Proximity to the Naval station as well as the Libertyville restaurants, bookstore and churches were just a few minutes down the road.

Everything! From the genuine welcome and early check in that was handled with ease AND a very willing Lia @the front desk. Cleanliness in the hallways as well as the room was a great relief. From the bathroom to the bedroom and all that goes with it (towels, sheets, bath tub, ample, desk top and kitchen range, counter and sink, impeccably clean. Front desk staff was courteous each and every time. So much so that extending our stay, even on Labor Day weekend was handled without any issues. Absolutely a must for families wanting to stay and check out great local eateries and local shops while in Libertyville or even wanting to be just a half hour from going into Chicago. And for accommodating the proximity for a Navy boot camp graduation, there isn’t a better choice!

The staff that we interacted with the most was the evening shift desk staff, Melissa. She was outstanding and welcoming—exactly the qualities you want when arriving late at an unfamiliar place.

Enjoyed the little studio we stayed in. Would come back and bring our dog next time!
