MainStay Suites Chicago Schaumburg

Everything. The staff is amazing.! JJ the GM is exceptional! He goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. The customer service is top notch, their level of professionalism is unmatched and the amenities are the icing on the cake. If I might add, you outdid yourself with the private lounge, it is neatly tucked away from the maddening crowd and provides solace for guests who have another person in their room and need space. It is so comfy and inviting.

I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS, but suggest adding or reintroducing daily breakfast. The facilities are already set-up for it and the hotel would remain at 100% occupancy. This would definitely increase your competitive edge. Also, having a shuttle service to and from the airport would be wonderful.

Made me physically sick developing pneumonia from staying there. Floor was saturated in dog urine from previous guests. I asked for a different room and instead they offered to shampoo. I figured industrial shampooer ok. No he ran over one pass quickly not moving the chair by the problem area and said it'll dry in an hour. Trusting this industrial machine that even i put the extra blanket bed back on the floor only to have the blankets ruined by them soaking up old urine and leaving yellow brown urine stains on my blankets.. They refused to comp me washer and dryers so i asked them to wash them themselves and they finally agreed and actually asked me if i want detergent. There was no table, denied extra towels and was told I wouldn't get refunded if I didn't stay my full booked time by one staff, another staff said I had to do it through booking.com that they can't give refunds and finally checking out early only to have the staff tell me they will credit my account shown on my receipt (still dont have it) 3 days into our stay i developed what i thought was allergies but I was diagnosed 3 days later with bacteria pneumonia after my symptoms just got worse and worse. Was never comped room fees, never offered a different room ended up just leaving early and again haven't been refunded for that.

Place was very nice very quiet very clean

The A/C is too loud. Could be cleaner.

They had to downgrade my room from 1 queen bed and and pullout to just 1 queen bed for myself, my teenager daughter and my granddaughter. So we had to share a bed and by a childs air mattress so my granddaughter didn't have to sleep on the floor. We stayed for 8 nights. Our 6th night i had to keep the girls in the room because another guest a couple rooms down from us (on the 1st floor) was masterbating in front on his open window. Other than that our stay wasn't horrible. We were there for a nationals dance competition, so we weren't in our room much.
