"Well located"

The location was good, especially if traveling by train (Amtrak or VRE) or Metro from the airport (Reagan). About a block and a half. You can walk a mile up King street to the waterfront or various restaurants and shops along the way. Or you can take the free trolley or bus. I think the bus is only free on weekends but the trolley is always free. No self-parking and if you are coming from 495 like we were you will be across from the valet heading east on King and it is no easy task to head west. We made multiple turns on side streets but with all the one ways it took about 10 minutes before we were finally able to get the car heading west on King. Not an issue if you aren't driving. Front desk and valet were great. Hotel was clean and modern. Room was fine. Bed was comfortable. A/C and heat worked great. Only one elevator working. Restaurant was disappointing. Service terrible (we had both breakfast and dinner). Would not recommend although there are lots of options close by.

I very much enjoyed my stay here! The best thing about the hotel is the location!! Walkable to Old Town/King Street. The rooms were small but functional. Clean. Comfortable. The robes were my fave hotel robes I have ever seen with cuffed sleeves and hoods. Good lighting and modern charging options with lots of plugs and wireless charging. Big windows allowed lots of light. Valet was efficient despite the hotel being full. They were warm in acknowledging my Hyatt status, and Jasmine was particularly helpful during an early check in. I didn’t eat at the hotel, but there’s an on-site restaurant and bar. Definitely recommend!

I really enjoy the Hyatt Alexandria Centric in Old Town. The hotel is beautiful, the team is professional and friendly and the rooms are lovely. I always enjoy my time there at the hotel. Check it out!
