Days Inn by Wyndham Central City

Not bad for the price.

The carpet in this facility was soiled and dirty. Should be replaced. I had to go to the front desk to get a lamp for our room otherwise the only lights were in the bathroom and room door. The breakfast, although limited, was cold. Obviously sitting way too long.

Hotel reaked of pot when we walked in. The carpet in the hotel was nasty dirty. Bathtub faucet was leaking. Steady stream coming out when it was off. Shower head sprayed over the top of the shower curtain due to a leak from it as well. Had to put a washcloth on top of it to keep water from getting on floor over the curtain

The pop machine was broken, and the pool/ hot tub was out of service. We checked in and our room had dirty towels and unmade beds. The front desk apologized and gave us another room that had been cleaned. The carpet on the stairs was filthy but the staff was very friendly and it worked for a short, one night stay especially since Best Western has a sink hole now!

It wasn't to bad, except the pool wasn't open and they didn't know when it would be. No coffee for breakfast, orange juice was more water than juice. Air conditioner was freezing cold. Room had a few rough, wear and tear spots.

We liked the quick check in, location, and day shift staff were friendly.

Night shift staff was rude when we had to get a new key card for ours not working. (This happened both nights we stayed). My husband waited forever at the front desk second night and no one would show up. Even after hitting the button. Went across the road to the gas station, came back and waited longer and she still didn’t show up. More parking would be a plus, since we had to park across the road at the gas station all night.

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was nice. My only complaint is there were not any outlets next to the bed to plug your cell phone into unless you unplugged the clock.

Convenient access to the parkway. Safety was a bit of concern due to young people smoking something near facility and parking lot in the evenings.

The breakfast was ok. The room A/C worked well. The room was clean.

There was only one light in the whole room and it was across the room.
