We needed a decent bed and modern amenities after a week in a 1960's motel that had NEVER been renovated and the staff was friendly and helpful, this hotel is clean and quiet.

No freezer in fridge, we had 5 BIG spiders in the room and bathroom. On the last night of our stay we woke up with a bunch of spider bites. Room smelled moldy/musty. The tub wasn’t draining well.

"Waterless shower"

I've stayed here many times before, but my experience this time was not good. Walking in to the room I immediately noticed a musty smell. It got better after the AC ran for a while. In the morning, I stepped into the shower, turned the handle, and ... nothing. The handle turned but clearly wasn't turning the shaft. No water. Probably just needed the set screw tightened but I didn't happen to pack an Allen wrench and didn't have time to wait for maintenance. I wonder -- how did they clean the shower last time without water? When I checked out I told the front desk agent and she nodded as if she wasn't surprised, she apologized, and offered to give me some additional Marriott points. I would have expected a substantial refund for a room that lacks a working shower.
