Americas Best Value Inn Chillicothe

The room was old but in general clean. It was equipped with a small refrigerator and a microwave. The curtain was old and had some holes.(somebody put tissue paper to fill the hole) The king size bed was decent. Free WiFi signal was weak and it did not work very well. The shower water pressure was OK. The staff was decent.

The desk clerk suggested I might want to "upgrade" to one of the "renovated" rooms, and when I asked what the difference was, she said "flat screen tv instead of small old tv, and newer linens." That made me want to leave right then, but it was too late, so I took the upgrade. Wow, if that was the upgrade, I hate to think of what the regular rate room was like. This tiny room had one dirty chair and ottoman, two DOUBLE beds, not queen, a small flat screen tv in an old tacky wood cabinet, no radio, and an AC/heat unit where the fan could not be set to stay on continuously--only worked on Auto, coming on when the AC kicked on, and then off again. But worse than the ugly room was the black mildew in the caulking around the tub in this "renovated" room!!! Worst room I ever stated in--I've stayed in less expensive hotels that were much nicer.

This hotel was exactly what we expected. It was decently clean (except for the tub) and the bed was comfortable. The staff was nice and the outside looked decent. Walking distance to food and gas station.

Room was clean, beds were comfortable, shower clean and had good pressure. For the money, totally fine room if you don't hold it to the standards of The Ritz. You'll get plenty of value for the money you spend.

Hotel was clean. Staff were very friendly. The hotel is old but clean, with one exception. There was a chair in the room that was stained. I would have preferred a wooden chair and thrown the one in the room away.

almost nothing offered for the continental breakfast, watery coffee, and the orange juice was Tampico brand orange drink. desperately needs updated and cleaned up.

I would stay there again. I would recommend the hotel to family and friends.

This hotel is convenient to the Tecumseh Outdoor Drama. It served it's purpose, no bells, no whistles.

It was a very uncomfortable stay it was noisy outside. Someone kept jiggling handle . Was just an uneasy stay .
