Sonesta Simply Suites Fort Worth

This location was a little sketchy. The evening staff worker was amazing however, when the next day came and the lady was rude and acted like I gave her a problem for asking her to do her job. There was a lot of things in the room that were broken. there was no running AC in the room. I had cigarette burns on the sheets for a non-smoking room. The list could go on and on…

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very mediocre. There are stains in the bathtub and no trashcan in the room. A little bit of a rundown hotel that’s mainly for blue color workers to stay at as they are on the job. The coffee pot was disgustingly gross. But for the price, I guess it was OK. Would not be staying here again.

The rooms were ok

I booked 1 apartment and they gave us two normal rooms, they charged me extra 15$ on the next day and the receptionist had no clue why, she just got a paper from her boss to charge the amount. I requested an answer why they did that, I sent many e-mails and got zero answer. Also the receptionist promised me she will answer in a few hours on that day.

Staff was really pleasant and accommodating, specially the woman who checked us in, Shaniqua. She regularly checked in on us to make sure everything was to our liking throughout both days that I stayed here with my son. The property itself was a bit of a mix between modern and dated, as were the amenities. But everything was clean, functioned as it should, and provided what we needed. On site laundry was free and so convenient. The front desk also offered some detergent for purchase so I didn’t need to go out of my way. The area itself has a bit of a homeless community surrounding it, but overall still felt very safe. They don’t offer breakfast at this Sonesta, but there’s a few food items for purchase at the front, a lot of common restaurants just a couple of minutes down the street, and places to shop for your basic cooking necessities. I was here for my son’s football tournament and everything was at our disposal. I would definitely recommend this place, the price is great for what you get.

It was disappointing I always stay at Sonesta & I recommend them to everyone. I've stayed in mostly Texas the best Sonesta by far was in San Antonio. The cleanliness, the service, more updated, breakfast, modern feel. This one is Ft. Worth was "ghetto". It smelled musty, the bathroom & kitchen were old, broken cabinets, & the elevator was gross! I will never stay there again! BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!

I arrived at 10pm and they said they had canceled my reservation. Something about a plumbing incident. So I did not stay at the hotel. I suspect they may have simply given away my room to someone else.
