Extended Stay America Suites - Houston - Galleria - Westheimer

I chose this place for a little staycation however it smelled like smoke everywhere I went even though there were non smoking signs everywhere. The floor was sticky and the lights in my room weren’t working.

The breakfast was okay, if you wanted a quick cup of coffee. The bars were stale as were the muffins.

Everything, except for the pleasant front desk staff.

We stayed one week at this hotel and you can smell weed all day in elevator and hallway. Hotel need full renovation. Be careful it say breakfast included but ist only cofe and small muffins.

It was quiet and clean

No one there for check in for 15 minutes. Many areas in need of repair. Location great. Blunt messaging sent regarding early check in and late check out... thought this was an Extended Stay

The location was great but the Hotel in general needs some major updating. Let's start with the breakfast (BAR) and it literally was a small cabinet in front of the check in counter in which you only had 3 choices of breakfast food to choose from and 1 was the limit. VERY DISAPPOINTING, the kitchen appliance was not included and if we wanted to cook, we would have to order the cookware, now I don't know if folks were stealing the items, but I feel as if the appliance should already be in the room such as coffee makers like any other hotel that I have stayed at. I was looking for a cafe setting but NO, next the beds were not QUEEN they were actually FULL size, second disappointment, they only had one elevator working. We could not get clean linen when we needed it, we had to ask the night lady for extras, and on the day of our check out, the HOUSEKEEPER felt the need to come into our room hours before checking out without knocking on the door just to ask if we were checking out that day when in fact, she knew we were. I was in the shower and did not get the chance to address that situation with her, but I did not like that one bit. So needless to say, we will not be staying there again.

ALOT, ELEVATORS, THE BREAKFAST AREA (Need its own space, not in the front as soon as you come in the door. Appliances need to be in the rooms, Coffee makers and the coffee and creamers.
