Not much. The room had a foul odor. The floor was dirty the carpets were filthy, torn and nasty looking. There were no amenities in the kitchen not even a cup! Towels were clean. The bed was clean.

Please review the information above also it felt like it was a drug dealer hang out with a drive-thru window. The smell of pot was awful. Cars kept coming and going all night and doors banging all night of people going in and out of their rooms.

The Staff is made up of All Non English Speaking men. One of the magers checked me in, wouldn't say one word to me. Highly uncomfortable. I also find it frustrating that no cleaning of your room for multi night stay. Maybe once a week.

The room was clean. The staff was friendly, for the most part, until checkout.

I came down to the front desk at about 8am to check out, only to find a sign listing "revised" office hours from 9am until 10 pm. There was no drop-off box or alternate check-out method, so I went back to the office at 9am. A member of the maintenance staff was there. He told me that the manager would be there within about 5 minutes. The manager finally arrived at about 9:15! Because of the delay, I had to re-schedule my activities for the day. If you have an early schedule, look elsewhere. In addition, the facility's proximity to I-581 subjects you to traffic noise from the highway.

This is an excellent long term stay hotel. Room is very quiet, although it is by a busy highway and near an airport. Within a couple of miles are many different restaurants from fast food to family sit down restaurants. The room has a nice refrigerator with freezer, microwave, and electric stove. The bed is comfortable and guests exchange linens and bed sheets as often as desired. We stayed with a cat and some other hotels in the area refused us a room at any price! Others charged much higher nightly fees for a cat, but Extended Stays nightly charge was reasonable. It was nice that the room had a writing table so I could use my laptop (had to tether to my cell phone for internet access as hotel has no free wifi). Laundry room is available on site ($3 in quarters for wash and another $3 to dry), but we didn't use it. The staff managing the hotel are very friendly, helpful, and offer attentive customer service. The primary reason we stayed here was the tremendous value for a 2 month or longer stay. The room rate was less than half of other nearby competitors, that over a lengthy stay of 2 months saved us over $2,000. This is an economy level hotel that is convenient to restaurants, airport, highway travel, and just miles from downtown Roanoke. Terrific value for long term stays!
