Wish the pool would've been open

Everything was great.

The staff was polite

Apart from the room not being very clean, there was a large puddle of water covering the bathroom floor. I could tell that the sink faucet was leaking but the puddle extended from under the sink, across the floor and around the toilet so I can’t be sure the toilet wasn’t leaking also. There was definitely something dripping the entire night. When I spoke with the man at the front desk, he was polite but explained that the hotel was full so he couldn’t move me to a different room and that he was the only person working so he couldn’t leave the front desk to help. He offered me a stack of towels to soak up the water and I took care of it myself. The next morning as I checked out I mentioned that I had had a leaky faucet, a large puddle of water in the bathroom and a dirty room and that I didn’t think I should have to pay full price and the woman at the front desk (who was very kind) said she would have to speak to her manager who was not present. She called me later to explain that her manager said since none of my items were damaged, they would not discount my room. I don’t need a fancy room but I draw the line at cleanliness and for $175 I expected much more. Very disappointing.
