TownePlace Suites by Marriott Seattle Everett/Mukilteo

The rooms are small and really only meant for 2 people. No bedding for the sofa bed was in the room upon check in and the front desk didn’t have any so I had to wait until the next day to get any. When you check in make sure everything works because my microwave didn’t work, light bulb missing in the bathroom, and the door wasn’t closing when I would leave. Pool was green and out of service. Water machine and computer in the lobby is out of service. Breakfast is not a real continental breakfast because there is only 1 fruit option, only half the toasters work, and the cereal was stale. When they came in to fix my microwave the door didn’t close properly so my door was left open. When I reported that management avoided me (I was told they were not there) until I checked out, I had to call corporate to get them to cal me back and I’m still trying to get it resolved. When I would report the issues to the front desk all I would get is insincere apologies but I would never get a response from management. When I called about my door being left open, the person at the front desk apologized and said there is nothing they could do about that and they didn’t even send anyone to check the door to only claim to check it after I left just to conveniently say it was working properly. I will not be returning here.

Late night check-in went smoothly. Bed was very comfortable and surroundings were quiet for a great sleep.

I stayed (or was supposed to stay) at TownePlace Suites Seattle Everett/Mukilteo on July 10, 2025, and as a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite member, I’ve never been so disrespected or disregarded by Marriott staff. After six hours of driving, I arrived at 10:00 PM, only to be greeted by Krissy at the front desk with, “Your room won’t be ready for at least another hour.” Not only was this delivered without a single apology, but the front desk staff member became immediately defensive and even yelled at me, blaming me for “checking in so late” and saying it wasn’t their fault. I calmly asked what would be done to make this right, and was simply dismissed while she returned to checking in other guests. Let me be clear, I never raised my voice once. I was treated with zero professionalism and no effort was made to fix the situation. I had to personally call Marriott support while standing in the lobby and ultimately booked a different hotel room myself, 20 minutes further away and nearly $100 more expensive, just to have a place to sleep. No apology. No help. No case filed. This was an absolute failure in both service and accountability. If this is how Marriott treats their highest-tier members, I can’t imagine how general guests are handled. Until this is resolved properly, I cannot recommend TownePlace Suites Mukilteo to anyone.

The rooms are dirty and seemed of urine When looking for our room over heard to maids discussing the rat they just saw We did not stay and checked out after 30 minutes and went to the Hilton!! Ask for a refund and were charged away I will to stay at a Marriott again!!!

Good breakfast and friendly staff.

The location was very good. The size of the room was good for our stay. The bed was very comfortable.

The rooms could use some updating, which I DO NOT consider the fault of that particular hotel. I've been told others are the same.

Amazing staff. They were super accommodating and made our trip spectacular.
