"Wowie"

Yes WOWIE is all I can say, Marriott has done well! This place has the perfect location for tourists and the staff is not only knowledgeable but very friendly and proactive. Walk to the Majestic Theatre, there is also a great restaurant on the first floor with private rooms upstairs. Live music in the lobby, many conference rooms with class, this historical building is worth just walking and touring on your own.

"A quiet hotel away from the Noise of the river"

Great historic hotel, wonderful staff, and excellent location. If you need a quieter hotel away from the noise of the River Walk, then this is your place. Both Zachary and Dean were excellent as bellman, offering tips on dining and walks. Our only disappointment was breakfast on Sunday morning. It was a bit over priced and the portions did not match the cost. Will that stop us from returning? Not at all.

"St. Anthony was a delight!"

Had the pleasure of staying at the St. Anthony Hotel in San Antonio, TX. As a Lifetime Titanium member, they upgraded me to a 1-bedroom suite with no NUA. The room was freezing the first night, but perfect the other three nights—very accommodating staff. The location is walkable to the riverwalk, many restaurants, and the convention center. It's across the street from a park. The hotel is grand with chandeliers, mahogany wood furniture, tapestries, marble floors...in the lobby. My room had a nice marble bathroom, a view of Travis Park, a comfortable bed, and linens. The St. Anthony Bar, which used to be a private club was intimate and cozy. There's also a restaurant bar that we want to try that was nice. There's a rooftop pool and bar when the weather permits. Overall, I would stay again. I was on business, so this was a social treat and not a cookie-cutter hotel. Oh, and I just love having a bathrobe!

We had a mahjong retreat here. Hotel is beautiful and great walking distance to things downtown. Staff are friendly. Shout out to Henry who helped me store all of my overpacking after checkout! Would definitely return!

"Two nights at The St Anthony were excellent"

Bell captain HENRY and bellman ADAM were very helpful with valet parking and luggage . Food and waitstaff at Anacacho coffee shop were outstanding! We had Pork belly tacos and papas brava for dinner. Breakfast and coffee ( barista Jalisa) was excellent. At check-in Celia quickly sent up a mini refrigerator and ice bucket for medical requirements . We even got to see the Annual Rodeo parade downtown. Beautiful historical hotel… would stay here again.
