The Imperial Mae Hong Son Resort

The room was clean and the furniture comfortable

This was our third visit to the Imperial and over the last seven years it has declined visibly. Wooden railings are loose, the shower is uncontrollable and the sink has virtually no water supply. We regularly book a suite next to the pool but this is now quite noisy because the pool has been opened up to the general public for a fee of 50 baht per person. There are often large groups of Thai families cavorting noisily during the day and teenagers enjoying the privacy of the pool in the dark. All this detracts from the peace and tranquility hoped for in what was once a rather grand old hotel.

The toiletries in the bathroom were very limited and nothing near any resort i know. Menu was also very limited and kitchen closes at 7pm.

Staff are very helpful and friendly the massage service at hotel is very good the breakfast was very average and the standard of the hotel conditions is in much need of a refurbishment but does have potential to be a great hotel

Need to renovate the deck area around the pool

Hôtel à rénover. Isolation phonique inexistante. Les parquets grincent et j’ai pas trouvé le breakfast varié Pas de viennoiserie

The room and facilities were as to be expected. The hotel was very noisy with other guests partying until late then making a disturbance outside the rooms. Our first night was fine.

Really run down ! Overpriced for the state of the hotel and the breakfast was such poor quality food
