Nothing to write home about

Poor electricity Unstable hot water in the bath Poor electrical system in the room. Horrible breakfast This is an example of how not to run a hotel. Pity, the facility with such a huge potential, is run by an incompetent manager.

"A good stay in Mae Hong Son"

There were very few options to find an accomodation in Mae Hong Son, so The Imperial was an obvious choice. I guess it once was a very nice hotel, now it is a little bit dated but we found it some what charming. The place was clean and comfortable. We took a hour long foot massage there in the hotel massage point and it was the best massage so far in Thailand.

The property is pretty dated.

"Disappointed at location and hotel very empty."

Staff were good

When we followed directions to the hotel it took us to derelict hotel. Location, it was on booking .com as being 800mtrs from centre however it was at least 20 minutes by car. Luckily the hotel had free transport. We booked this as we wanted to get close to the centre! There was only two sun beds around pool! You need to pay a visit.

"Very pleasant stay"

Check in was a hot chaotic as the hotel could not find the reservation I made through a third parttu website. In the end it came through and we got the keys to our room. I would call this hotel your classical Thai teakwood hotel. We had a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was good. In the morning, the whole parking lot was empty before 09:30. Clearly hotel used by people on the road/the Mae Hong Son loop.
