Travelodge by Wyndham Carlsbad NM

Manager was very helpful during check in. Accommodated us by giving us a ground floor. Not terribly easy access from street. Safe. Sherry the house keeper was very helpful and super courteous.

Clean , and nice staff

Staff was very friendly and helpful finding restaurants and such. Hotel was in a good central location that seemed to be close to everything.

The breakfast was disappointing. Skimpy even for continental. If you care about breakfast, stay somewhere else. we took one look and headed for Dennys. We stayed at four different hotels on this trip,and this was the highest price per night. all three of the other hotels had great breakfasts, two had cook to order omelets! If the owners think the breakfast is costing too much, they’re mistaken. A bad breakfast offering will cost them customers.

This property does not warrant $140 per night. Very run down and everything in the room was battered looking. AC unit had an electrical cord splice that did not look safe. Not happy with this hotel.

Staff was very accommodating. Room was very clean.

Room AC compressor was loud every time it came on. Fortunately, I didn't need ac in evening. Breakfast was weak. A couple bread items or cereal.
